INPAA Safety Accreditation
To gain Baby Safety Accreditation, companies must undergo biannual assessment. Key requirements that must be fulfilled under this process are:
1. Demonstrated
customer management systems
2. Evidence of
an effective product safety culture that is embedded in product development /
supply process
3. Conformance
or movement towards meeting quality principles embodied in Australian Standard
AS 9000-2006
4. Demonstrated
compliance to product traceability throughout supply chain
5. Signatories
to licence agreement and industry code of conduct
6. Regular involvement in industry development forums
